NFL Issues Fine To Stefon Diggs Over WWE Stunts

“Stone Cold” Steve Austin and many other superstars during WWE’s Attitude Era are responsible for negatively influencing children around the world.

Countless detentions have been given to students imitating Steve Austin and DX, and now it turns out the NFL recently issued a fine for the same reason.

We previously reported that Buffalo Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs recreated Steve Austin’s famous beer party after a touchdown.

This did not go unnoticed and the clip went viral. Now he’s the one paying. The NFL fined Stefon Diggs $13,659 for his “Stone Cold” celebration of Steve Austin during the Miami Dolphins game on October 1.

After his touchdown, Stefon Diggs grabbed a few beers from the crowd and playfully crushed them in tribute to Steve Austin.

It’s a lot of fun, but they call the NFL “The No Fun League” for a reason.

NBC Sports reported that the NFL chose to fine Stefon Diggs a financial penalty for his celebration, which is similar to a “stunning” move in wrestling.

Obviously, some professional wrestling and Buffalo Bills fans may be a little upset with this decision.

This, in turn, ensures that beer smashings are unlikely to be copied.
