Rey Mysterio’s Long Anticipated Animation To Go Live Soon

Rey Mysterio is undoubtedly one of the true veterans of professional wrestling, having been in the industry for over 30 years.

An animated series based on Mysterio has not yet been released, but it has been confirmed that the show will be released soon.

“Rey Mysterio vs. La Oscuridad” was first announced at the end of 2021 as his 10-episode action comedy series scheduled to air on Cartoon Network Latin America in 2022.

However, last year this series was not released at all. It has now been announced that the show will finally air on Cartoon Network Latin America and HBO Max LA.

The network announced that the series will aired “soon,” but the new trailer doesn’t mention an exact date.

“A legend like you’ve never seen before! Rey Mysterio vs The Darkness comes VERY SOON to #CartoonNetwork and @hbomaxla.”

Rey Mysterio is expected to be sidelined for six to eight weeks following surgery on his knee.

We’ll have to wait and see how his next TV series develops after its release.
