Spoiler On Surprise Return Planned For WWE Fastlane

WWE Fastlane took place this Saturday and they set the stage for a terrible upset on SmackDown this week. That being said, this should serve as an official spoiler warning.

On WWE SmackDown this week, an injury issue came to light, leaving Santos Escobar and Rey Mysterio without a third partner for their upcoming match at Fastlane.

They will face Bobby Lashley and the Street Profits in a six-man tag team match. Rey Mysterio mentioned that he was making a phone call and then proceeded to do just that.

It remains to be seen who he has been in contact with and whether they will join the team or not.

A new report contains spoilers about WWE Fastlane’s planned return this Saturday. The event is expected to be exciting, but a big comeback could also be on the horizon.

According to PW Insider, the angle on Friday night’s SmackDown, where Joaquin Wilde and Raul Mendoza were attacked, was intended to set up a return at the next PPV event.

In Fastlane, LWO will face the Street Profits and Bobby Lashley. Sources within WWE indicate that the decision was made to facilitate Carlito’s return.

The former IC champion signed a new contract with WWE over the summer and is waiting for the right time to return.

Carlito made his first appearance in WWE in a long time, in May at WWE Backlash in Puerto Rico.
