The UnderTaker Shares Story Of His Rooming With A WWE Legend

The Undertaker has had a long journey throughout his life, and much of it has been connected to professional wrestling.

At the time, he had to get promoted in business like everyone else, so he wasn’t always a dead man.

The situation was very different from today, where WWE trains superstars at the Performance Center. To do this, young people needed to log mileage on the road.

Now that he’s in the WWE Hall of Fame, Undertaker is living a completely different life.

He does not make arrangements to meet during expeditions and does not share transportation costs or hotels with his fellow wrestlers.

It was the longest time in his life, and sometimes he couldn’t choose who to travel with. On a recent episode of the Six Feet Under podcast, Undertaker recalled a past incident when he shared a room with late WWE Hall of Famer The Iron Sheik.

I end up back in my hotel room around 1:30 in the morning. The Sheik comes in maybe 30, 45 minutes after I did.

I’m just there, right there on the edge of some good sleep and he goes, ‘Ah excellent Marky Bubba! You get in some good rest.’

He lays down and falls asleep. It’s a couple of hours later, and I wake up freezing.”

This happened in Undertaker’s early days as a WWE rookie. Undertaker was a bit shaken up, but he was a newcomer with no political influence.

So he had to deal with the noise and try not to be bothered by it. Then, just when I thought it was quiet, I heard an even louder sound.

The next thing I hear, the shower’s on. Full steam … I’ve got the pillow over my head and I’m trying to thaw out …

I’m still a little pissed, but I’m a greenhorn. I’m a rookie, I’ve got no say … I hear the water turn off, and I go ‘Oh thank gosh’ and I’ve got an hour.

It’s ridiculous. And then the next thing I hear the blowdryer starts. I go in and he’s blowdrying his mustache!”

The Undertaker no longer has to leave his house if he doesn’t want to. At this point in his career, his touring days are long gone.

We have to see what he does next because it will be 100% his decision. He also has much more influence in deciding who to live with along the way.
