Tony Khan Finally Addresses WWE Television Right Talks

Tony Khan is well aware of some of the questions surrounding WWE’s collaboration with Warner Bros. Discovery.
After all, a deal between WWE and WBD could cause an uproar in the All Elite world.

AEW’s media rights are set to renew in 2024, and Tony Khan spoke candidly about the long-standing and successful relationship between Warner Bros Discovery and AEW.

AEW programming has been part of the Warner Bros Discovery lineup since October 2019.

When Tony Khan spoke to New4Jax at Going Ringside, he was asked about talks between WWE and Warner Bros Discovery.

He doesn’t seem too worried about the idea as he thinks there are plenty of opportunities.

“It’s part of sports. I think everybody discusses contracts and free agency and things of that nature.

I think everybody is aware that everybody is going to be talking to everybody in media this coming year. There will be certainly a lot of opportunities.

We’ve had a great history with Warner Brothers Discovery and continue to produce great ratings. We’ll be in a very good position next year.”

As WWE Raw’s rights renew nears, there are reports that WWE has entered into talks with Warner Bros.

Discovery regarding Raw’s media rights. On the other hand, FX was also considered a favorite and sometimes Amazon Prime as well.

Tony Khan also revealed the relationship between AEW and WBD in an interview. We need to see if they can continue this relationship going forward.

WWE SmackDown and WWE NXT have secured new homes, with SmackDown moving to the USA Network and NXT moving to the CW Network in October 2024.

As of this writing, RAW has yet to announce their new home for October 2024, but they will likely be leaving the USA Network as it will be SmackDown’s new home.
