Trick Williams Open Up After Massive Reaction At His SmackDown Debut

WWE’s NXT roster includes several players who are on the brink of greatness and on their way to becoming breakout stars.

Trick Williams is one of the players who has shown great growth and made a name for himself in NXT.

Williams was also added to the main roster last week, and he admits the crowd reaction he got in his debut match was a dream come true for him.

Prior to the Royal Rumble Premium Live Event, WWE SmackDown Go Home Edition was held in Miami, Florida.

One of the standout matches was the rematch between Carmelo Hayes and Austin Theory, with Theory securing the victory.

After the match, Theory and Grayson Waller attacked Hayes.
Trick Williams then made his main appearance on the show, receiving a warm reception from the Miami audience when he came to the rescue and saved Hayes from an attack.

During a talk on Busted Open Radio, Trick Williams spoke about the audience reaction he received to his debut album, calling it a “dream come true” for good reason.

”Honestly, it’s a dream come true (reaction he received at 1/26 WWE SmackDown). I think that’s the feeling that every wrestler wants to feel. Running out when you hear your music being played. So, beyond my imagination. Who thinks their first debut is gonna sound like that? So, I’m grateful for.’

WWE is also considering Trick Williams as a potential main promoter for WrestleMania. Additionally, Williams will face Ilya Dragunov for the NXT Championship in the main event of a premium live event.

It remains to be seen whether Trick Williams will ultimately become a permanent part of the team.
