Interesting to say, the much awaited WWE Battleground has come and gone and it did left with it the unexpected. Before the match there were predictions and imaginations which turned out to be negative and false. You will agree with me that nobody had thought of what really happened at the WWE Battleground event and after the match.

The WWE Battleground happened at the Verizon Center in Washington, DC. It is revealed that it was the last PPV before the brand split officially takes place as wrestlers from both Raw and SmackDown took part in it. I must say that some expectations were turned down while some were met.

We had expected Sasha Banks to pick Naomi or even Nikki Bella as her partner in the match against Charlotte and Dana Brooke but she didn’t, she picked the Former NXT champion Bayley.

The match went out well, as Former NXT champion Bayley teamed up with Sasha Banks to defeat Charlotte and Dana Brooke. The Wyatt’ family also showed lessons to The New Day by defeating The New Day; Rusev beat Zack Ryder to retain the US title. After the match, Rusev attacked Ryder and Ryder’s partner at NXT Mojo Rawley came out and saved him from the Bulgarian brute.

Furthermore, Sami Zayn beat Kevin Owens while Natalya beat Becky Lynch. Also, John Cena, Enzo Amore and Big Cass defeated The Club made up of AJ Styles, Karl Anderson and Luke Gallows. The Miz saw hell in Darren Young’s hand as Darren dealt with him mercilessly. It was hell on earth if I should exaggerate.

More so, before the match we have thought that Seth Rollins will take over the WWE world championship title against Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns in the triple threat match; what happened was so opposite from what we thought, Dean Ambrose beat both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns to retain the WWE champion. After the match, Dean Ambrose received warmth congratulation from the SmackDown roster. WWE Battleground was indeed a tough time.
