Refusing WrestleMania match against The Undertaker is quite ridiculous, isn’t it?

‘The Monster’ Abyss, the heaviest wrestler to hold the TNA X-Division Championship made it known in a recent Reddit AMA that he was once requested to be the man standing face-to-face with The Undertaker in a WrestleMania ring and he mind-bogglingly refused the match.

“Yes that’s true. I ended up staying with TNA and I’m so happy that I did. I have no regrets, I was an original member of TNA since the beginning and I couldn’t leave something I helped build from the ground up,” he said.

The stanch former TNA Heavyweight Champion also stated that he has not the slightest regret for all the hardcore matches he’s had over the course of his career.

Wrestlezone.com reported the story with these words: “Good question and no I don’t. I don’t regret anything I have ever done for TNA; I’ve always enjoyed working here. I don’t regret them and I’d do them all over again if I could.”

Abyss (Christopher Joseph Parks) is the only TNA original apart from James Storm still with the struggling promotion and he may possibly not leave the company as far as we can imagine.
