WWE BOASTS NEW QUARTERLY RECORD REVENUE OF OVER $410 MILLION

 

According to WWE’s Q2 2023 Earnings Report, the company achieved a breakthrough financial performance in the past quarter. The company’s revenue hit a record high of $410.3 million, up a significant 25% and setting a new quarterly record.

Revenue was $410.3 million, up 25% and hitting a quarterly record; Operating profit was USD 87.3 million, up 26%; and adjusted OIBDA1 of $140.7 million, up 54% and hitting a quarterly record

At the same time, viewership of WWE’s top shows SmackDown and Raw has grown significantly, increasing by 26% and 19% respectively. They better manage both TV and cable TV, which have fallen by 12%.

The success and the big numbers they can be proud of don’t stop there. Each of WWE’s premium live events, including WrestleMania, Backlash, and Night of Champions, set unique viewership records worldwide with year-over-year increases of 29%, 34%, and 45%, respectively. Additionally, WWE’s live event revenue grew 51% year-over-year, indicating continued strong demand for domestic and international events.

Average attendance at live events in North America posted an impressive 45% increase, setting another quarterly record with 9,870 attendees. In July, WWE’s Money in the Bank event took place at The O2 in London, earning the title of the highest-grossing arena event in the company’s history. Money in the Bank broke records not only in viewership but also in sponsorship revenue, merchandise sales and social media activity.

These achievements are further proof of WWE’s popularity and ability to attract audiences worldwide. The company’s dedication to delivering premier entertainment experiences has certainly paid off, reflecting strong financial growth and continued success.
