WWE May Not Book An Expected FastLane Match

Nia Jax returned to WWE and puts her stamp on Rhea Ripley. WWE took advantage of the loss of this Irresistible Force at The Nightmare to give the WWE Women’s World Champion a few weeks off for vacation. Now we will have to wait for her next move.

Dominik Mysterio and Judgment Day have kept Rhea Ripley’s name alive since she left television.

She will return, but Fastlane may not be an option for her at this time.

The Wrestling Observer newsletter notes that, while expected, WWE may not be booking Nia Jax against Rhea Ripley at the October 7 event.

“Other clear directions are Rhea Ripley vs. Nia Jax for the world women’s title, although that may not be on this show,

while WWE women’s champion Iyo Sky seems to have Charlotte Flair or a three-way with Asuka and Flair on the horizon.

Gunther vs. Tommaso Ciampa also looks to be on this show. The Gainbridge Fieldhouse is sold out with 11,548 tickets.”

WWE has a lot of plans in the works and bringing Nia Jax back is certainly a bold move.

It also sparked a conversation within the fan community about the wisdom of such a call.

Only time will tell how things play out in Nia Jax’s next run in WWE. It looks like the company is planning to move her to the top of the list, where she will face off against Rhea Ripley.

That being said, Fastlane may not be the sire for this match.
