The main event match for tonight’s Raw show will be a non-title triple threat match between Chris Jericho, Seth Rollins, and the WWE Universal Champion Kevin Owens.

Of course, the match probably won’t close out the show, as Brock Lesnar will be making his return tonight in his billed hometown of Minneapolis, Minnesota.

As of this writing, Chris Jericho doesn’t have a match at this coming Sunday’s Hell in a Cell pay-per-view, and that’s because, according to Cageside Seats, WWE is probably going to make him the guest referee for the Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens match at the pay-per-view.

“Chris Jericho is expected to be added to the Kevin Owens vs. Seth Rollins Hell in a Cell match in some capacity on Raw tonight, possibly as a guest referee.”

WWE has been teasing a Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens breakup for the last couple of weeks, and they’ll probably continue to tease it during tonight’s triple threat match. Will that lead to Jericho stabbing Owens in the back on Sunday night? Probably not, because they’re currently scheduled to team up at Survivor Series, as they’ll be part of the Raw vs. SmackDown elimination match.

The original plan for the Hell in a Cell show was a triple threat match between Chris Jericho, Kevin Owens, and Finn Balor. But, Balor ended up getting hurt, so WWE was forced to put Seth Rollins in his spot. Then, WWE decided to change their mind on having a triple threat match at Hell in a Cell, and they announced that it would just be Seth Rollins vs. Kevin Owens for the Universal Championship on October 30.

Furthermore, Chris Jericho was actually originally scheduled to work a singles program with Finn Balor when he came up to the main roster this past summer. But, Vince McMahon changed his mind, and decided to make Balor — at least for a short time — the face of Monday Night Raw.
