The three members of the shield Seth Rollins, Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns held the WWE World heavy weight championship title in one night. The match between Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins led to Seth’s victory. After Roman Reign’s defeat, Dean Ambrose appeared and defeated Seth Rollins winning the title of the WWE World heavy weight champion just one minute 59 second after Seth Rollins won it from Roman reigns.

The WWE sold Seth Rollins title to Dean Ambrose making Seth Rollins title reign to be the shortest in the company history.

With the recent bombshell of Roman Reigns violating the WWE wellness Policy, a lot of fans feared that the WWE may ban Roman Reigns from preceding matches however; the WWE has also confirmed that the WWE superstar Roman reigns would not be removed from the main event at Battleground.

It was reported that the switching of the title was a deliberate action from the WWE. This action was due to the massive turnout at the show on the number of events where Reigns was the headliner.

John cena’s injury made Ambrose headline the “B” show which had comparable attendance with the “A” show when led by reigns. As a result of this switch, the WWE are looking forward to a great population during the match between Roman Reigns, Seth Rollins and Dean Ambrose
