Dean Ambrose has eventually retained the WWE world champion after defeating his former shield brethren Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a triple threat match at the WWE Battleground. It is obvious that his win was not in any way expected to happen at the match and this made it a surprise to the WWE Universe. Dean Ambrose is reigning as the WWE Champion lately.

Dolph Ziggler won the six pack match to determine the #1 contender for the WWE World Heavyweight champion against Dean Ambrose at the WWE SummerSlam event. It has been rumored all around town that Dean Ambrose wills loss the title against Dolph Ziggler which will crown Dolph the new champion of the WWE. But it was only rumored anyway, who knows if Dean Ambrose will just take Dolph Ziggler and still retain his championship title?

It is revealed that at the WWE biggest event of the year, WrestleMania 32 Dean Ambrose face the Beast Brock Lesnar and it was thought by many that the match will be the match of the event but unfortunately, the match did ended a 12 minutes match. There were not traits of seriousness in the match as expected by the WWE Universe. The match was more of a street fight and as we all know, Dean Ambrose is no stranger to street fights or extreme matches, as it was part and parcel of his “Jon Moxley” character in CZW.

More so, Dean Ambrose recently appeared On the latest edition of the Stone Cold Podcast on the WWE Network, Ambrose spoke to Austin about the match, and said that he had pitched several ideas for the match, and wanted to go all in just as the fans wanted to see, but was met with laziness from Brock Lesnar who was not interested in going as far as Dean Ambrose wanted to go.

Furthermore, Dean was thought to have lost a huge thing by losing the match against Brock Lesnar but now it revealed as if the WWE has wanted to compensate him with the world heavyweight title which he laid claim of just two and a half month after the WrestleMania 32 event. And also, Dean has become the face of WWE SmackDown Live.
