WWE Star Opens Up On Reason Behind His Extended Hiatus

The world of professional wrestling is one of the most grueling and physically demanding fields in the world today, with wrestlers putting their bodies on the line to entertain their fans.

WWE is no different, with their talent having to deal with hectic schedules each week that can lead to injuries. Now, one WWE Superstar has revealed the reason for his long absence.

Apollo Crews competed in the Slim Jim Battle Royal at SummerSlam in August, followed by a tag team match in the main event, which was taped a few days later.

After that, he did not appear on WWE television for a long time. Crews will finally return to ring action earlier this month.

He uploaded his post on Instagram in which the former Intercontinental Champion revealed that an undisclosed injury took time to heal.

”Had a little injury that kept me out for a few months. Felt great being back in the ring.”

Apollo Crews faced Ludwig Kaiser at the main event taping on November 6th, but ultimately lost to the Imperium member.

Either way, it’s been several months since Crews was sent out, so only time will tell when he’ll return to WWE television.
