WWE’s Decision For Women Tag Team Title

WWE is always figuring things out, and they were placed in a difficult situation when 1/2 of their Women’s Tag Team Champions went out of action.

The company previously placed a lot of hope that Sonya Deville and Chelsea Green’s team would revitalize the women’s tag team division, but they had to go with a different plan.

Wrestlingnewsplus reached out to inquire about the current state of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles. We were told by a tenured member of the creative team that a decision about the titles has been made.

WWE has made a decision about what they will do with the Women’s Tag Team Titles.

There are no “discussions” at this point, and they will either announce their plan during SmackDown this week or RAW on Monday.

Carmella was originally slotted with Chelsea Green, and their Karen team was taking off.

Then Carmella was taken out of action when it was revealed that she was pregnant.

Sonya Deville was placed with Green, and that seemingly worked out even better.

The two became WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions before Deville’s tragic ACL injury took her out of action. Now, we find ourselves at the cusp of a new phase for those titles.
