According to Bryan Alvarez who noted on the Wrestling Observer, it’s supposed that WWE took it for granted that their staff are drug free. Hence WWE only run tests on its contracted talents and not on coaches or staff at the Performance Center. Gunn had to go because naturally it would be unbecoming for a trainer to test positive for performance enhancing drugs as it paints their entire developmental program black and dents the image to some degree.

Now, a report states that WWE is planning next to replace Gunn but there’s yet to be a final pick as two names are reportedly being considered.
