A report has just been filed in stating that popular professional wrestler and former IWGP, NWA and TNA Champion AJ Styles who was pulled out from performing in the recent New Japan Pro Wrestling events might have been sidelined for the same injury that kept him from participating in the recent Ring of Honor television tapings.

Earlier we reported that the former IWGP, NWA and TNA Champion was dropped and would not be in action for the last weekend’s show following an undisclosed injury. In that very publication, we also promised that our news crew was working know the nature and the severity of the injury since no details was stated by our sources.

Thus, a report just reaching us states that AJ Styles was sidelined due to a lower back injury, the same injury which kept him from performing at Ring of Honor television tapings.

AJ Styles has been working tirelessly to see that he returns to the ring as soon as possible and all has been going well on his road-to-recovery but just when fans expected him to appear for actions, he was said to be experiencing another downtime and won’t be in action for a while.

According to Styles who spoke with New Japan’s bi-monthly magazine recently, the injury was caused by overworking himself on the independent circuit in 2015.
