New York Daily News has just reported that popular WWE celebrity and Grammy Award-winning singer Natalie Cole is dead. She died on the last night of last year hence, the news circulated just as the dawn of the New Year, making fans and family members to sob and grieve.

The R&B singer died after struggling with a range of health issues for a number of years but death managed to catch up with her in Los Angeles, California at the age of 65.

Just here, we wish to note that the only non-wrestling celebrity to come into sight at WrestleMania 9 was no other person than Cole. The pay-per-view event took place on April 4, 1993 in Caesars Palace in Paradise, Nevada and it was such a memorable day as Cole was honor with an interview by Todd Pettengill while the live show was ongoing.

Although music fans would be more emotional with the incident of her death, but a quarter of WWE fans who knew about her or who have passion for music would also feel the pinch.
