Edge’s situation with WWE may not live up to his return expectations.
Now it looks like the company has officially moved on from Adam Copeland.

There has been speculation about Edge’s next step in professional wrestling after his WWE contract expires this month.

He recently ended his WWE contract with a win over Sheamus on SmackDown in late August.

Edge has denied reports that WWE rejected his contract request, sparking rumors of a possible move to AEW.

He addressed the contract extension offer from WWE in a video on Twitter.

According to PW Insider, Edge is no longer on WWE’s in-house talent roster, although WWE.com still lists him as an active performer.

The WWE Hall of Famer is now officially no longer part of the company.

Since news of Edge’s contract expiring emerged, there has been speculation within WWE that he could join AEW, where he could reunite with longtime friend and tag team partner, Christian Cage .

WWE Moves Edge To ‘ Miscellaneous Talent ‘ List

This reunion is very possible. Ringside News exclusively reported that speculation within WWE remains that Edge is tied to AEW.

This is unchanged from our previous exclusive report from a month ago.

Ringside News previously exclusively reported that there is an internal belief within WWE that Edge is headed to AEW.

Shortly after, Sean Sapp reported that AEW also believes that Tony Khan will sign Adam Copeland.
