Edge Maybe Able To Use His WWE Nickname In AEW Afterall

Edge is starting to get a lot of buzz as Adam Copeland and not his WWE nickname. In 2023, fans are smart enough to realize WWE owns the brand.

That being said, the company may not have control over all of Adam Copeland’s name.

While researching several trademark filings, Ringside News discovered that although WWE has “Edge” locked up, it does not have an active trademark for the Rated R Superstar.

WWE’s Rated R Superstars brand is dead and abandoned. There are two identical name’s existing.

We’ll have to see if fans hear this nickname on AEW television.

AEW WrestleDream could be a huge event with a nice surprise at the end. If Adam Copeland makes his way to AEW, he could be the Rated-R Superstar after all.
