Carmelo Hayes is “HIM” and he proved it in NXT. His reign as NXT Champion was impressive, but it ended at No Mercy.

Ilja Dragunov is one of the most passionate and intense Superstars WWE has ever seen. He faced Carmelo Hayes at NXT No Mercy in a penultimate match on the card.

This was a tough competition and it could go either way.

That being said, Carmelo Hayes was unable to pin Ilja Dragunov to the canvas for the three count.

In the end, Ilja Dragunov won against Carmelo Hayes in Bakersfield. This was an incredible match and the crowd asked for more throughout the contest.

We’ll have to see how Ilja Dragunov does as NXT Champion. It will also be interesting to see what happens next for Carmelo Hayes, as Trick Williams won the NXT North American Title the night before.
