John Cena Reaches Out To Zac Efron After Movie Premiere

Published

John Cena made a featured appearance at the Iron Crow premiere, praising Zac Efron for playing Kevin Von Erich in the film.

At the premiere event, John Cena was one of several WWE stars in attendance and was photographed with MJF.

MJF also shared a snap with Baron Corbin, and it turns out CJ Perry and Liv Morgan were also in attendance.

John Cena expressed his admiration for Zac Efron’s performance on Twitter with a photo of himself, Zac Efron, and the real Kevin Von Erich.

“Incredibly proud of @ZacEfron for an outstanding performance in @A24 ’s #TheIronClaw. Thank you for doing the work to help introduce a new audience to one of our industry’s most important families. See it in theaters Dec. 22nd!!!”

Interestingly, John Cena and Zac Efron are set to appear on screen together in the upcoming fantasy comedy Ricky Stanicki, and Cena made headlines earlier this year for wearing a skirt for his role.

Previously, Kevin Von Erich shared his thoughts on Zac Efron’s performance in Iron Crow and his conversation with director Sean Durkin.

Chavo Guerrero, the film’s wrestling coordinator, also praised Zac Efron’s approach to the role.

With its premiere generating excitement and Cena’s support, Iron Claw will be released in theaters on December 22, 2023, further expanding the legacy of one of wrestling’s most prominent families.
