Real Madrid is preparing a deal to sign Bayer Munich forward Robert Lewandowski. The Poland striker, who scored 30 league goals as Bayern Munich claimed their forth successive league trophy in a stretch, had been linked with a possible move to Laliga.

The Poland super star had been the key subject of transfer speculation having refused to sign an extension to his contract in April.

Cezary Kucharski, Lewandowski’s agent had confirmed speculation coming from the Uefa finalist potter. A deal of about £50m being proposed by Real Madrid. Kucharski told the German news magazine Spiegel. “We have informed FC Bayern that we’ve held talks with Madrid.”
