The formal world heavyweight champion Roman Reigns was suspended for 30days by the WWE for violating the policy of the company’s wellness. The WWE has been very stern on this policy especially since the Benoit murder and suicide, and a surfeit of wrestlers’ deaths.

After the incident, Roman Reigns having felt guilty for his fall apologized on twitter saying “I apologize to my family, friends and fans for my mistake in violating WWE’s wellness policy. No excuses. I own it.”

Roman Reigns the three-time world heavyweight champion lost this title to Seth Rollins in a match at the money in the Bank PPBV. On the Monday Night Raw, Shane McMahon announced that both Seth Rollins and Roman Reigns will be taking Dean Ambrose the WWE World Heavyweight champion for the title at the WWE Battleground on the 24th of July, 2016.

Considering this, The Shield Triple-Threat Match for the WWE World Heavyweight championship at the WWE Battleground is a danger of loss.

Some actually think that this suspension is a part of the WWE plans or initiative to move the much anticipated Shield triple-threat match that is supposed to be held at the Battleground to the SummerSlam.
