Vince McMahon Rumored To have Snagged Arabian UFC Deal With His Influence

The merger of WWE and UFC has changed the landscape of combat sports and it looks like huge financial deals will come from this merger.

This could include a major event in Saudi Arabia, where the UFC makes big money to host the Fight Night event. Saudi Arabia is confirmed as the host of the upcoming UFC Fight Night event in March 2024.

This massive deal could have gotten a lot of help from WWE Chairman of the Board Vince McMahon.

This development follows the recent merger between the MMA and WWE promotions, which resulted in the formation of TKO under Endeavor’s publicly traded unit.

As part of this merger, Vince McMahon was named executive chairman of TKO and is expected to play a role in the day-to-day operations of the UFC.

UFC CEO Dana White confirmed McMahon’s active involvement, describing him as a valued partner who has made significant contributions to the UFC brand.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter continues to suggest that Vince McMahon’s relationship with the Saudi Arabian government may have played a role in the UFC securing this massive deal, similar to the ongoing deal of WWE with the Middle Eastern country.

ESPN’s Marc Raimondi previously reported that the next UFC event is part of the Riyadh Season Festival in Saudi Arabia and that Dana White is expected to announce the fight card in the coming months.

The article also highlighted WWE’s lucrative partnership with Saudi Arabia, which may have influenced the UFC’s decision to hold an event in the country.

Riyadh, the capital of Saudi Arabia, hosts various prominent events, including the Tyson Fury vs. Francis Ngannou fight and upcoming WWE Crown Jewel premium live event.
