WWE Executive Vice President Fired

WWE is going through many changes since it was merged with UFC to form TKO Holdings.

They are under the Endeavor umbrella and the debt is already tied up with the company so cuts are underway.

Some cuts had been expected to be made in WWE today. Nick Khan, the company’s CEO, emailed employees yesterday to announce that everyone would be working from home today.

The human resources department needs more time to carry out the layoff privately.

PW Insider reports that WWE has continued to significantly reduce its internal structure.

Catherine Newman, executive vice president and chief marketing officer, is no longer with WWE.

“Catherine Newman, WWE’s Executive Vice President and Head of Marketing, has departed the company as a result of today’s post-Endeavor acquisition layoffs,
PWInsider.com has confirmed with multiple sources.

Newman oversaw Marketing, Brand, Community Relations, Entertainment Relations, Creative Services and Photography.

She joined the company in June 2022 after working as Chief Marketing Officer of Manchester United Media.”

Jamie Horowitz has also been released from WWE. He previously served as executive vice president of development and digital.

It was previously reported that the main rosters of WWE and NXT would be cut. Unfortunately, all this is due to the recent merger of the TKO Holdings group.
