WWE May Welcome Back Adam Copeland Anytime Soon

Adam Copeland made his AEW debut at WrestleDream.

Fans everywhere were surprised, but the AEW talent considered his debut “the worst kept secret in wrestling.”

That being said, the door is not closed for him to return to WWE. Sean Sapp noted behind the Fightful paywall that WWE knew Edge was on his way to the company.

This is consistent with our previous reports and it was pretty clear at the beginning of the summer that the Rated R Superstar would not be staying in WWE.

It was also noted that Adam Copeland left WWE on good terms and the door was also open for the WWE Hall of Famer to return to the company.

The people at WWE that Sapp spoke to were also happy for Edge. This is big news and Adam Copeland’s move to AEW is just getting started.

“Some within WWE said that it became obvious to them at the start of the summer that Edge wasn’t returning.

WWE sources we spoke to claim that Adam Copeland left on good terms, and would be welcomed back into the company if he ever returned.

The overwhelming consensus was a positive within AEW and a “happy for him” within WWE.”

His first match has been booked and now it seems like the sky is the limit for what he can do in the future, and a return to WWE could also be in the plans one day there.
