He also had title ambitions in mind. At NXT No Mercy, Trick Williams was given an opportunity he couldn’t pass up.

This was actually a fight that should have belonged to Mustafa Ali but he was released from the company last week.

At No Mercy, Trick Williams faced Dominik Mysterio for the NXT North American Title. Dragon Lee is the special referee in this match.

In the end, Trick Williams won and became the new North American Champion. This was a big moment for Trick Williams as he finally struck out on his own and now he is a champion.
