WWE Stars Nikki Bella and John Cena were supposed to be married by now. Everyone wanted it, everyone talked about it, everyone wanted nothing less for the WWE legendary stars.

Unfortunately, as fate would have it, the wedding never happened. Nikki Bella pulled the trigger and called the wedding off owing to John Cena’s nonchalant attitude towards the wedding and general preparation.

Prior, John Cena had engaged Nikki Bella at the most celebrated and watched WWE PPV, WrestleMania 33 and the world gave Nikki the endorsement through congratulatory messages.

That day would never be forgotten in a hurry so long as the WWE and wrestling world is concerned as Nikki blushed all day on social media and as it gave her the impression that she has taking one big step closer to being the wife of the 16-time WWE Heavyweight Champion, John Cena.

And while that is ringing in the air, Cena made several shocking notes as regards their wedding vis-à-vis Nikki having kids. Then Cena went forth to note that there are parts of Nikki that is just unfolding to him. By that, Cena was referring to the part of Nikki Bella she had kept behind the scene all her life — the marriage she hide from everyone including he himself.

Now, in the eye of the WWE Universe, this is the real reasons why Cena was reluctant on pulling the trigger of marriage with her all this while. Cena was not comfortable that Nikki was married before and she didn’t tell him even though they’ve been together for 6-years. Also, John Cena didn’t want Nikki Bella to come into his life and later pull a divorce which would make him lose most of his assets.

John Cena refused to marry Nikki Bella after six years of dating

The longest reigning WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella has been ups and downs relationships issues just as most Superstars and she recently noted that she was formally married; yes she is a divorcee!

Nikki Bella has been married once before, yes, Nikki Bella is a divorcee; she said this much at Total Divas, the E! reality show starring WWE personalities. Nikki Bella finally revealed to her family that she married her high school sweetheart in Las Vegas at the age of 20 but kept the wedding a secret from everyone. She also kept their divorce a secret; the two were divorced three years after the wedding took place.

Of course, the marriage wasn’t quite as romantic as it sounds; Nikki related that the marriage was a disaster, so they eventually had it annulled.
