Edge’s Future At WWE ‘Uncertain’

It was quite a blast to end the night in Toronto with Edge facing Sheamus in this week’s SmackDown main event match.

After the match, Edge announced that this would be his last time wrestling in Toronto, and it was a very emotional moment. There is currently a great uncertainty about his status.

Wrestle Votes reports that Edge has not signed a new contract. His contract expires in September, but Toronto was his last contract.

At this point, the R-rated superstar’s future in the company is somewhat uncertain. He could have ended things in Toronto. the “ball” definitely is in Edge’s hands.

Edge may decide he wants to come back, but he’s always believed he also wants to finish his career the way he wants.

He wasn’t given that luxury to begin with, so he may have decided that his final bout with Sheamus in Toronto would be the ending he sought.
