MMA Rules Stipulated To Be Added To WWE Summer Match

WWE and UFC are merging, which means the worlds of MMA and professional wrestling will never be closer. This Saturday will see SummerSlam in front of the sold-out Ford Field in Detroit. It will also bring a very interesting regulation to a match.

WWE broadcast released a great video package for Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler this week on RAW. They lead fans through their stories, mentioning things, such as Ultimate Fighter, that WWE has never mentioned before.

When they returned to that segment, there was news. It was revealed that Ronda Rousey and Shayna Baszler would be participating in a match under MMA rules. The exact rules for this regulation match have not been revealed

We will have to see how the match under the MMA rules plays out. Shayna Baszler has previously said she’ll bring Ronda Rousey to the game at SummerSlam, and that seems to be exactly what’s going on.
