RVD Sparks Rematch Rumors With John Cena

RVD remains one of the most technically gifted professional wrestlers to ever compete in the squared circle.

The pro wrestling legend has competed in several tournaments like ECW, WCW, WWE and IMPACT Wrestling during his career and is still going strong.

Now it looks like he’s hinting at a rematch with John Cena.

During the early years of his career, John Cena had a huge match with ECW veteran Rob Van Damn at ECW One Night Stand 2006, which saw RVD beat Cena to win the WWE Title.

The match was particularly notorious for Rvd’s hostile attitude towards Cena,

with many fans insulting him and there was even a large banner hanging from the balcony reading “If Cena wins, we will riot”.

The WWE Hall of Famer recently took to his Instagram Stories and shared a photo of himself with John Cena,

where RVD can be seen holding his Money In The Bank briefcase with Cena as he appears to be teasing a match with John Cena again.

John Cena returned to WWE after a while and it will be interesting to see RVD and The Leader of Cenation resume their rivalry after a long time. We’ll have to see if the match happens again someday
