John Cena Says He’ll Leave For Hollywood Once The Strike Is Over

WWE is lucky to have John Cena back right now, because that wasn’t the original plan.

The SAG-AFTRA strike opened the door for John Cena’s return, but once that ended, it seemed like WWE fans wouldn’t see him again.

We had exclusively reported that John Cena has begun talking to WWE about his return after the SAG-AFTRA strike began. After all, WWE has no union.

At the press conference after Fastlane, John Cena was asked if Hollywood would take him back after the strike ended.

He confirmed that they would, as he was working on a project that needed to get back on schedule as soon as possible.

“They do, they do. I’ve made it perfectly clear that you can’t do both, because of the liability insurance, and if I were to try to juggle both, then that would be selfish,

because I would put a lot of people out of work if something happened to me. So, yes,

I stopped the project I was in, I can’t even talk about what the project was because of the strike, and we’re in the middle of it.

So, as soon as I can get back to work, I get back to work. I don’t control any of that, just crossing my fingers to hope that they can figure that out.

In the meantime, I came back to help with my family.”

The 16x world champion went on to say: “It’s not the end but the end is on the horizon.” It was fun to see John Cena, but it won’t last forever.

John Cena’s final match in WWE was fun to watch. Cena admitted that it also exceeded his expectations.

Only time will tell what he can do before leaving again, but it’s only a matter of time before that day comes.
