The event unfolds seeing Jeff Hardy in the ring. Jeff accepted the fact that he’s worried about Matt. He asks Matt to come out. Matt acquiesces. Jeff complained that Matt is operating at a higher risk tonight by putting his career on the line when he battles Ethan Carter for the belt.
Meanwhile, Matt in his response explained how determined he is on never to disappoint his fans and by meeting up to their expectation of of winning the match. He vows to beat Carter at his own game. Tyrus comes out. He wants to fight Jeff who takes him up on the challenge.

Jeff Hardy vs. Tyrus
Jeff won by DQ after Tyrus got physical with the ref. Jeff took a nasty spill from the rope at one point, which didn’t look intentional. Jeff hit a twist of fate on Tyrus afterwards.

We’re told Feast or Fired is happening on next week’s episode. Abyss and Crazzy Steve attack Davey Richards and Eddie Edwards backstage.
Awesome Kong vs. Gail Kim
Kim won with the Eat Defeat to retain the belt. Lots of outside shenanigans, with the Dollhouse going after Kim and the Beautiful people making the save. It ended with Jade getting thrown on Kong. Good match by TNA women’s standards.

Beer Money is out next.
Roode and Storm want Eric Young and Bram. But Eli Drake and Jessie Godderz are out instead. Jessie vows to break them both, Storm says he’s itching for a fight.

Roode and Storm won with the DWI. Beer Money work as well as a team as they always did.

We find out that Jeff re-injured his leg in the match with Tyrus. Matt checks up on him and tells him to listen to the TNA doctors and take a break.
Kurt Angle comes out and thanks the fans. He puts over Galloway and the tremendous match they had on last week’s show. Angle wants to know who is next. Lashley appears. Lashley says he respects Angle like crazy and wants the chance to have another great match like they did last year. Angle accepts the challenge.
We see Lashley talking to a mystery woman backstage.
Mike Bennett with Maria vs. Pepper Parks
Bennett won in a quick squash. Afterwards he cut a promo talking about how he’s here to make miracles.

Ethan Carter cuts a promo outside of an ambulance. He tells Matt he’ll be leaving in it.

Ethan Carter vs. Matt Hardy
Matt Hardy won the title after turning heel. Carter turned face at the same time, when Tyrus came out and hit him with a cutter. This had shades of Austin/Bret. The story of the match was that Carer wouldn’t quit, even when he got badly cut open, and Matt was determined to win at all costs, even accepting Reby and Tyrus’ help. Matt finally got the pin by hitting him with the belt. I guess Matt/Reby/Tyrus is the new top heel stable. Afterwards Matt bragged about ending Ethan’s streak and says he won the title for himself, not the TNA fans. He says the fans aren’t important. He called himself “Big Money Matt” and hugs Reby and Tyrus. He smacks Carter around with the chair a few times to cement his heel turn.
