It has been alleged by Alberto Del Rio in the Q&A he conducted on Periscope that the WWE wanted to bring him back again and revealed based on his comment in his previous video that he was not burning any bridge.

Del Rio would accomplish a lot in his initial run with the company considering the debut in WWE in 2010.
Alberto, before departing from the WWE in 2014, during his first run, won the WWE Championship and the WWE World Heavyweight Champion twice.

Del Rio would work for AAA and Lucha Underground from 2014 to 2015 until he re-signed with the WWE. He returned at the 2015 Hell in A Cell pay-per-view against John Cena and would remain with the company until September 2016.

According to reports, Del Rio made his initial comments against the WWE in 2014 during a shoot interview where he discussed people like Vince McMahon and Triple H.
His recent comments where he openly admitted to be drunk and proceeded to insult a WWE official whose identity was not mentioned though believed to have been Triple H, were made on Periscope.

“You remind me of one of the bosses in WWE, with the big f–kin’ nose, big f–kin’ pu–ies.
Ya know, I’m close to the next town. Stamford. I could pay a visit to somebody. Stamford is only forty-five minutes away. That’s where all the pu–ies live, right? I could go there and just knock on someone’s door, ‘Hey, big nose with the small d–k’”

Below were Del Rio’s words as regards to Burning Bridge where he made some awful comments about his former bosses:

“I’m not burning bridges. I don’t plan on going back there, it’s them already calling me to go back to that company, but I’m not going back ever, ever, ever.
I’m too happy being out of that place. It was me quitting that place, not staying in that place and not wanting to stay, even after they did everything to try to keep me in that company, I said, ‘no, I don’t want to be there.’”

However, Alberto seems to be having fun and enjoying his life with Paige and of course his wrestling career outside the WWE, so I guess it’s safe to say don’t expect to see Del Rio back in the WWE anytime soon.
Although he had won the championships, his last two returns were not so good and who knows maybe his third return might have been even worse.

Be that as it may, Alberto’s negative comments against the WWE may have no effect on him on either sides but might become an issue for Paige if she want to continue working for the company after her Neck injury is healed seeing that she is already on a bad page of the WWE following her wellness suspension and showing up to non-WWE wrestling events.
