The erstwhile WWE writer Court Bauer during an interview in a recent episode of MLW Radio pointed it out that The WWE officials are planning to engage Brock Lesnar to face Kevin Owens at the WrestleMania 32 pay-per-view in 2016.
In the meantime, there is no report yet on how they plan on getting to Lesnar vs. Owens but there is strong indication that Owens may likely not be able to hold the WWE Intercontinental Title.

While speaking further, Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that the information may be true but as of today, Lesnar has not been notified about it. That does not speak impossibility on making the proposed match a reality.
