Vincent Russo made controversy remarks few days ago when he came on air to speak about professional wrestling during a podcast interview with Jim Ross. Some of the statements he made still stir up hanger in the heart of a lot of Superstars.

The real matter came to be when it was time to talk about the issue of Kevin Owens, the former WWE Intercontinental Champion.

Russo was particular about the size and shape of Owens, noting that it doesn’t look like the type a Superstar should have. He somehow said that due to Owens’s awkward size, he should be receptionist at the bar rather than doing wrestling.

He made a note from what the CEO of WWE said a while ago. Vince McMahon said, “If you wanted to be a star in pro wrestling then you need to look the part.” According to him, Owens doesn’t have that arresting look and features that distinguishes a Superstar wrestler from someone you would see checking IDs at a bar.

He leveled it against Owens when he compared his look to that of the Hulk Hogan, Ultimate Warrior, Sting and a host of others. He wrangled on that if it was his days, Owens wouldn’t have won WWE Intercontinental Champion by any means possible.

He didn’t stop there; no he didn’t! He said Carl Ouellet was far better-off than Owens ten years ago but he didn’t win the Intercontinental Champion title or any title of that class for that matter because his look appalled Vince McMahon. He drove on and on…

Kevin Owens felt natural when he learned of the attacks Vince Russo launched against him but he didn’t respond with the same tooth. He checked through his teeth and came out with this bite via Twitter. He said, “I’m very proud of the fact that I’m not Vincent Russo’s cup of tea. Quite frankly, I’d be worried if I was.”
