According to PWInsider, John Cena has sustained a major shoulder injury that necessitates him to visit a doctor for medical operation as soon as tomorrow. The report detailed that the 38-year old WWE Superstar suffers a torn rotator cuff, which characteristically takes 3-6 month for full recovery. Hence, he is automatically ruled out of Royal Rumble and likely WrestleMania 32 as well.

Cena just returned from break after taking two months away to film a series of reality movie for the FOX called American Grit. Also he has been scheduled for other movies such as Sisters and Trainwreck which may likely force him to do less of wrestling to enable him focus; but with the latest shoulder injury, we doubt just what fate awaits him.

This connotes that for the first time since 2003 John Cena may miss a Wrestlemania match which is unbecoming for WWE especially as Vince McMahon has vowed to make WrestleMania 32 achieve an all-time groundbreaking audience.

We wish you quick recovery, John Cena.
